DELAYED: Route 752 Resurfacing

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – Motorists on Route 752 in St. Joseph will encounter single-lane traffic between Route 371 (22nd Street) and I-229 beginning as early as the end of this week. Contractors from Herzog Contracting Corp., working with the Missouri Department of Transportation, will close one lane in order to safely work on milling and paving the roadway, shoulders and ramps in this section.

They had planned to begin today, Tuesday, Sept. 11, but delays on other projects have pushed the earliest start day to Friday, Sept. 14. If weather continues to be a factor, they could push the work to Monday, Sept. 17. Even with the delay, the project should be complete in mid-October. They plan to work from approximately 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day, Monday through Saturday.

During the work motorists may experience delays. Some lane drops could remain in place overnight. The project is weather dependent and could be rescheduled.
