One Day Bridge Work Planned for U.S. Route 24 Near Monroe City

MACON – Weather permitting, Tuesday, Sept. 18, U.S. Route 24 over U.S. Route 36 near Monroe City will be down to one lane for bridge work. This will only be one day work from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

This bridge is scheduled for rehabilitation, which will occur in a few weeks after the contractor completes the bridge work on Randolph County Route C.

Please use caution if you will be traveling through this area, and obey all work zone signs and personnel.  Also, put down your cell phone to help eliminate distractions.
