St. Louis Work Zones for September 20-26

ST. LOUIS – Drivers who use the I-70/I-270 interchange should be aware of additional lane and ramp closures this weekend. On Friday, September 21 at 8 p.m. crews will close one additional lane (three total) on southbound I-270 at I-70. The lanes will also be shifted through that area.

Crews will also close:

  • The westbound I-70 ramp to southbound I-270 at 8 p.m.
  • One lane on the eastbound I-70 ramp to southbound I-270 at 8 p.m.
  • Two right lanes on northbound I-270 at McKelvey at 9 p.m. One lane will reopen at 6 a.m. Saturday, and the second will reopen by 6 p.m. Saturday.

All remaining closed lanes are scheduled to reopen by 5 a.m. Monday.

In addition, two lanes on the ramp from eastbound Route 370 to northbound I-270 will close at 8 p.m. Saturday – only one lane will be open on the ramp. The ramp from eastbound Route 370 and northbound I-270 to Missouri Bottom will close at 5 p.m. Saturday. Both ramps will completely reopen by 4 a.m. Monday.

Motorists should be aware of the following on-going closures:

  • I-44, St. Louis City, two lanes closed westbound from Arsenal to Shrewsbury until December 2018.
  • I-44, St. Louis City, the eastbound exit to Vandeventer is closed until early 2019.
  • I-44, St. Louis City, one lane closed westbound between Jefferson and Grand through 2019.
  • I-44, St. Louis City, two lanes closed westbound between Grand and Kingshighway through 2019.
  • I-44, St. Louis City, one lane closed westbound between Kingshighway and Arsenal through 2019.
  • I-44, St. Louis City, one lane closed eastbound from Shrewsbury to Jefferson through 2019.
  • I-64, St. Louis City, one lane closed westbound across the Poplar Street Bridge into Illinois until December 2018. One additional westbound lane is closed until October.
  • I-64, St. Louis City, the ramp from eastbound to 11th Street is closed until early October.
  • Route 367, St. Louis City, the east half of Halls Ferry Circle will be closed through early October. Northbound traffic will only be able to stay on northbound Route 367.
  • I-44, St. Louis County, the ramp from Shrewsbury to eastbound I-44 is closed until December 2018.
  • I-70, St. Charles County, the ramp from T.R. Hughes to westbound I-70 is closed until the new ramp opens in late 2018.
  • Route 61, St. Charles County, access from Route P is closed through September.
  • Route 47, Franklin County, one lane closed southbound on the Washington side of the bridge through mid-October.
