GOWER, Mo. – The McGuire Creek Bridge on Route 116, just east of the Buchanan/Clinton county line, was recently replaced with a box culvert. Unexpected settlement at the new box culvert will be repaired tomorrow, Friday, Sept. 21. In order to safely and quickly make the repairs, contractors will close Route 116 between County Line Road and NW Helberg Road between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 5 p.m.
During the closure, motorists will need to use an alternate route. The repairs are scheduled to take one day to complete.
All work is weather permitting and schedules are subject to change. MoDOT encourages all motorists to slow down, buckle up, eliminate distractions and drive safely to ensure everyone is able to Arrive Alive.
