Resurfacing Project To Close Interstate 229 Ramps

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – An ongoing resurfacing project on Interstate 229 will require the closure of four interstate ramps next week. Contractors from Herzog Contracting Corp., working with the Missouri Department of Transportation plan to close each of the four ramps at the Interstate 299 and Interstate 29 interchange south of St. Joseph next week.

  • I-229 southbound to I-29 southbound – Monday, Sept. 24, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
  • I-229 southbound to I-29 northbound – Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
  • I-29 southbound to I-229 northbound – Wednesday, Sept. 26, 4 a.m. to 6 a.m.
  • I-29 northbound to I-229 northbound – Thursday, Sept. 27, 4 a.m. to 6 a.m.
