ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – Ramp closures are part of an ongoing resurfacing project on Interstate 229. Contractors from Herzog Contracting Corp., working with the Missouri Department of Transportation, have adjusted their schedule of ramp closures as part of resurfacing Interstate 229. The new schedule is as follows:
- I-29 southbound to I-229 northbound – Thursday, Sept. 27, 4 to 6 a.m.
- I-29 northbound to I-229 northbound – Friday, Sept. 28, 4 to 6 a.m.
- I-229 southbound to I-29 northbound ramp – Saturday, Sept. 29, 4 to 8 a.m.
- I-29 southbound to I-229 northbound – Saturday, Sept. 29, 8 to 10 a.m.
- Route 752 to I-229 southbound – Monday, Oct. 1, 4 to 7 a.m.
- I-229 ramps at Route A – Monday, Oct. 1, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- I-229 northbound to Route 752 – Tuesday, Oct. 2, 4 to 8 a.m.
- I-229 northbound to Route 371 (22nd Street) – Tuesday, Oct. 2, 8 a.m. to noon
Shoulder work is planned Oct. 1-6, daylight hours for both I-229 between 22nd Street and I-29 and Route 752 between 22nd Street and I-229.
All scheduled work is weather permitting and subject to change. MoDOT encourages all motorists to slow down, buckle up, eliminate distractions and drive safely to ensure everyone is able to Arrive Alive.
