Highways and Transportation Commission Awards Pavement Improvement Projects in Boone County

 

JEFFERSON CITY – The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission today awarded pavement improvement projects on two Boone County roads.

Christensen Construction was awarded a contract for chip-seal improvements in the following areas:

  • Route NN between Route 63 and Route 124.
  • Route YY between Route 124 and Red Rock Road.

The low bid for the contract was $440,006. Work on each project will take place in 2019.  When a start date is established, MoDOT will alert the public about the project through signs, news releases and social media.
