Highways and Transportation Commission Awards Improvement Projects in Osage County

JEFFERSON CITY – The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission today awarded improvement projects on two routes in Osage County.

Higgins Asphalt Paving submitted the low bid of $898,343 and was awarded a contract for chip-seal improvements in the following areas:

  • Route C between Route 100 and Route A.
  • Route W between Route 50 and Route A.

Work on each project will take place in the summer of 2019.  When a start date is established, MoDOT will alert the public about the project through signs, news releases and social media.
