Contract Awarded to Resurface Roadways in Washington County

JEFFERSON CITY – The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission has approved a contract to resurface Route 21 and Route 32 in Washington County. Pace Construction was awarded the contract to after submitting the low bid of $4,105,000.

The work, which will resurface Route 21 between the Jefferson County line and Route 32 in Iron County and Route 32 between Route 21 and Route BB in St. Francois County, will take place in the summer of 2019. When a start date is established, MoDOT will alert the public about the project through signs, news releases and social media.
