CLOSED Missouri Route 79 in Louisiana Due to Flooding

HANNIBAL - The Missouri Department of Transportation has closed Third Street/Missouri Route 79 in Louisiana between Maryland and Delaware Streets due to flooding.  Currently, there is more than two inches across the road.

It is likely MO 79 will close south of Louisiana to Route D, as well as south of Clarksville as the Mississippi River water levels raise over the next few days.

Please use alternate routes.

Please do not drive through roads covered with water.  For updates on flooding, go to www.modot.org and click on the traveler information map or contact customer service at 1-888-275-6636.
