LEE’S SUMMIT – The Missouri Department of Transportation will reduce Interstate 470 at the Douglas Street bridge to one lane on both Thursday, Oct. 11 (eastbound), and Friday, Oct. 12 (westbound), for bridge work. Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead, expect delays, and find an alternate route if necessary. All work is weather permitting.

  • Eastbound I-470 at the Douglas Street bridge will be reduced to one lane beginning at approximately 7 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 11.
  • Westbound I-470 at the Douglas Street bridge will be reduced to one lane beginning at approximately 8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 12, until 5 a.m. the following morning.

Please remember that all work zones are NO PHONE zones. Buckle up. Phone down. Arrive Alive.
