KANSAS CITY – Crews have set some ramp and lane closures for next week for concrete pours as part of the I-435 South Loop Link project currently underway between State Line Road and the Three Trails Crossing. All of the closures will take place during overnight hours. All work is weather dependent. Closures include:
- Monday, Oct. 29: Crews will CLOSE the right lane of westbound I-435 from Holmes Road to near State Line Road and the westbound Wornall on-ramp from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- Tuesday, Oct. 30: Crews will CLOSE the right lane of eastbound I-435 from Holmes Road to the 104th St. Bridge and the eastbound Holmes on-ramp from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- Wednesday, Oct. 31: Crews will CLOSE the right lane of eastbound I-435 from Wornall Road to Holmes Road from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.

This work is part of the I-435 South Loop Link project that will replaces the bridges at Wornall and Holmes, rehabilitates the bridges at 104th Street and the Blue River, and upgrades the pavement on I-435 which includes adding another lane. The Missouri Department of Transportation urges all motorists to always wear safety belts, follow posted speed limits and be alert for slowed traffic, narrowed lanes or a reduced number of lanes during construction and maintenance work. And remember, every work zone is a NO PHONE ZONE.
