JEFFERSON CITY - The following is a listing of general highway maintenance and construction work in the mid-Missouri area for the two-week period of November 12-23, 2018.
Scheduled maintenance and construction activities will not take place on Monday, November 12 in observance of the Veteran’s Day Holiday, and Thursday, November 22 and Friday, November 23, in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. Weather conditions may postpone the work schedule. Many projects will include lane closures that could cause delays.

Daylight Hours
Mowing, striping, brush cutting and guardrail repair continues in various locations. Motorists should travel with care and be alert to slow-moving equipment along the road.
Boone County
Daylight/Overnight Hours
Route 40 between Route UU and Route 5 in Howard County – Resurfacing and shoulder improvements continue.
* Excavation and base work will begin the week of November 12. Asphalt overlay work is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, November 14.
* Roadway surfacing will take place the week of November 12. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
The project is scheduled to be completed in the winter.
Callaway County
Daylight/Overnight Hours
Business Route 54 between Route 54 East and Route 54 West – Sidewalk and ADA improvements continue.
* Asphalt paving operation will take place during the overnight hours the week of November 12. Sidewalk work continues during the daytime hours. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
* Daytime paving is planned to begin on Thursday, November 15. Significant delays in traffic are expected during this operation.
The project is scheduled for completion in December.

Route 54 over the Missouri River – Bridge inspection in the eastbound lanes will take place Tuesday, November 13 through Friday, November 16. One eastbound lane will be open through the work area. The westbound Route 54 entrance ramp from Route W and the westbound exit ramp to Main Street will be closed between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. each day. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route around the closures.
Route HH between County Road 203 and County Road 214 – Culvert pipe replacement will take place on Wednesday, November 14. The road will be closed from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route around the work area.
Route YY between Interstate 70 and County Road 197 – Culvert pipe replacement will take place on Thursday, November 15. The road will be closed from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route around the work area.
Interstate 70 Outer Road between County Road 210 and County Road 215 – Culvert pipe replacement will take place on Tuesday, November 13. The road will be closed from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route around the work area.
Camden County
Overnight Hours
Route 5 between Route 7 and Route 64 in Laclede County – Guardrail installation and replacement and pavement repair continues. One lane will be open through the work area. The entire project is scheduled for completion in November.
Daylight Hours
Route 54 between Route K and East Valley Drive – Pavement improvement and J-Turn installation will begin on Monday, November 12. One eastbound lane and one westbound lane will be open through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in August 2019.
Route KK between Route 54 and Turkey Bend Road – Culvert pipe replacement in various locations will take place Tuesday, November 13 through Wednesday, November 21. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Cole County
Overnight Hours
Route 50 Outer Road between Business Route 50 and Country Club Drive – Pavement repairs to the roadway and adjoining entrance and exit ramps continue. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Daylight Hours
Route B between Route 179 and Route 133 in Osage County – Sign maintenance will take place Tuesday, November 13 through Wednesday, November 21. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Cooper County

Route 87 between Interstate 70 and Route J – Roadside maintenance will take place Tuesday, November 13 through Friday, November 16. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route T between Harned Road and Round Hill Road – Culvert pipe replacement will take place on Wednesday, November 14. The work will take place from 7 a.m. until 3 p.m., with occasional full closures of the roadway. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route around the work area.
Crawford County

Route 49 between Route 19 and Route Y in Iron County – Edge rut repair will take place Tuesday, November 13 through Wednesday, November 21. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route C between Route P and Argo Road – Brush cutting will take place Tuesday, November 13 through Friday, November 16. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route C over the Little Bourbeuse River, west of Dean Murphy Road – Bridge maintenance will take place Tuesday, November 13 through Friday, November 16. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route N between Route J and Route 185 in Washington County – Ditch repair will take place Tuesday, November 13 through Friday, November 16. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route V between Route 49 and Route Y – Edge rut repair will take place Tuesday, November 13 through Wednesday, November 21. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route Y between Route V and Route 49 in Iron County – Edge rut repair will take place Tuesday, November 13 through Wednesday, November 21. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route HH between Route 19 and Ollie Coleman Road – Edge rut repair will take place Tuesday, November 13 through Wednesday, November 21. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route JJ between Route N and Forest Hill Road – Brush cutting will take place Tuesday, November 13 through Friday, November 16. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route WW between Essman Dunn Road and the Interstate 44 North Outer Road in Franklin County – Ditch repair will take place Tuesday, November 13 through Friday, November 16. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

Route 124 between Route 240 and County Road 410 – Tree trimming will take place Tuesday, November 13 through Friday, November 16. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route Y between Route 124 and County Road 135 – Tree trimming will take place Tuesday, November 13 through Wednesday, November 21. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Laclede County
Daylight/Overnight Hours
Interstate 44 Outer Road over the Gasconade River, west of Route 133 – Bridge replacement continues. The road is currently closed.
* Grading and clearing operations will take place the week of November 12. Traffic on I-44 may be slowed during the work. The entire project is scheduled for completion in August 2019.
Overnight Hours
Route 5 between Route 64 and Route 7 in Camden County – Guardrail installation and replacement and pavement repair continues. One lane will be open through the work area. The entire project is scheduled for completion in November.
Maries County
Daylight Hours
Route 68 between Route P and County Road 431 – Roadside maintenance will take place Tuesday, November 13 through Friday, November 16. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Miller County
Daylight/Overnight Hours
Route 54, east of Route 87 – Bridge deck rehabilitation in the eastbound lanes continues. One eastbound lane will be open through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in late December.
Route 54 over Wrights Creek, east of Copperhead Road – Bridge deck rehabilitation in the eastbound and westbound lanes continues. One eastbound lane and one westbound lane will be open through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in mid-November.

Route H between Route 17 and Jim Henry Road – Culvert pipe replacement and repair in various locations will take place Tuesday, November 13 through Friday, November 16. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route M between Porter Road and Rock Hole Road – Brush cutting will take place Tuesday, November 13 through Wednesday, November 21. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Business Route 54 between Route 54 and Route CC – Edge rut repair will take place Monday, November 19 through Wednesday, November 21. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Moniteau County

Route 5 between Route 50 and Route 52 in Morgan County – Microsurfacing continues. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in mid-November.
Route 50 between Ferguson Avenue and Sunrise Road – Shoulder repair will take place Tuesday, November 13 through Wednesday, November 21. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

Osage County

Route B between Route 133 and Route 179 in Cole County – Sign maintenance will take place Tuesday, November 13 through Wednesday, November 21. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route DD between Route U and County Road 610 – Pavement repair will take place Tuesday, November 13 through Wednesday, November 21. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Phelps County

Route B over the Bourbeuse River, north of County Road 1400 – Bridge replacement continues. Much of the work will take place off the roadway. Minimal traffic interruptions are expected through the work area.

Interstate 44 between mile marker 176 and mile marker 184 – Concrete repair in the westbound lanes continues. One westbound lane will be open through the work area.

Route BB (Tenth Street) between Forum Drive and Stoltz Road – Sidewalk repair is underway. Minimal traffic interruptions are expected through the work area.
Pulaski County

Route N between Cortez Road and Crocker Road – Culvert pipe replacement will take place on Tuesday, November 13. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Washington County

Route 185 between Route 8 and the Franklin County line – Edge rut repair will take place Tuesday, November 13 through Friday, November 16. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
