MACON - Weather permitting, MoDOT will be doing the following work on routes in Montgomery County. Please see the dates and locations below.
Missouri Route 161 - Nov. 26-30, road will be closed from the Danville outer service road to Missouri Route 19 for culvert work. The work will be completed between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. each day. The road will be reopened each evening.
Interstate 70 eastbound - Nov. 27, one lane traffic from MM 180 to MM 181 while crews work on the sign on railroad overpass. Work will be completed between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. There will also be a 10 ft. width restriction while the work is completed.
For the closure, motorists will need to use alternate routes. Please remember to obey all work zone signs and personnel, and put down your cell phone to help eliminate distractions.
