Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission to Meet Dec. 5 in Washington

WASHINGTON, MO – The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission will hold its monthly meeting Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2018 at Washington City Hall, 405 Jefferson Street, Washington, Missouri.

The meeting begins at 8:30 a.m. and the public is invited to attend.  In addition to MoDOT staff presentations, Washington Mayor Sandy Lucy and Bob Zick are scheduled to discuss the New Route 47 Missouri River Bridge. Zick is chairman of the Route 47 Bridge Committee. Chief Daniel Isom, executive director for the Regional Justice Information Service Commission, will also share a presentation.

The Commission holds meetings in Jefferson City for five months, while the legislature is in session; the other seven months Commission meetings are held throughout the state. More information about the commission can be found at www.modot.org/about/commission.
