St. Louis Work Zones for November 29-December 5

ST. LOUIS Drivers heading into Illinois from I-55 will need to consider alternate routes this weekend, as crews will have the ramp from eastbound I-44/northbound I-55 closed to the Poplar Street Bridge.

Work is weather permitting. Crews will close the ramp to the bridge at 8 p.m. Friday, November 30, and expect to reopen the ramp by noon on Sunday, December 2. In addition, crews will have three lanes closed on eastbound I-64 across the bridge from 8 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Monday, December 3. Only one eastbound I-64 lane will remain open across the Mississippi on the Poplar Street Bridge.

In addition, Ameren crews will be closing eastbound and westbound I-64 between Kingshighway and Grand from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. Sunday morning for utility work. Eastbound I-64 will be detoured off the interstate at Vandeventer and westbound I-64 will be detoured off the interstate at Forest Park Avenue.

Motorists should be aware of the following on-going closures:

  • I-44, St. Louis City, the eastbound exit to Vandeventer is closed until Monday.
  • I-44, St. Louis City, two lanes closed westbound from Arsenal to Shrewsbury until July 2019.
  • I-44, St. Louis City, one lane closed westbound between Jefferson and Grand through 2019.
  • I-44, St. Louis City, two lanes closed westbound between Grand and Kingshighway through 2019.
  • I-44, St. Louis City, one lane closed westbound between Kingshighway and Arsenal through 2019.
  • I-44, St. Louis City, one lane closed eastbound from Shrewsbury to Jefferson through 2019.
  • I-64, St. Louis City, the ramp from Broadway to westbound I-64 is closed until mid-December. Due to this work, the ramp from eastbound I-64 to 6th Street (the last Missouri exit) will be closed daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Route 367, St. Louis City, the west half of Halls Ferry Circle will be closed through early December. Southbound traffic will only be able to stay on southbound Route 367.
  • I-44, St. Louis County, the ramp from Shrewsbury to eastbound I-44 is closed until December 2018.
  • I-44, St. Louis County, one lane closed westbound between I-270 and Bowles thru late 2021.
  • I-70, St. Louis County, the eastbound ramp to Lucas-Hunt is closed until late November.
  • I-70, St. Charles County, the ramp from T.R. Hughes to westbound I-70 is closed until the new ramp opens in late 2018.
  • Route 47, Franklin County, one lane closed southbound on the Washington side of the bridge through the early December.

  • I-70, St. Charles County, one lane closed eastbound and westbound between the Blanchette Bridge and Fee Fee.
  • Route W, St. Charles County, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed from I-70 to Route 61. Flaggers will direct traffic through the closure.
  • I-44, Franklin County, 7 p.m. to 8 a.m., one lane closed eastbound and westbound between Route 30 and the Crawford County line.
  • I-44, Franklin County, 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., one lane closed eastbound at Route 50.
  • Route 67, Jefferson County, 4 a.m. to 2 p.m., one lane closed southbound at Victoria Road/Montauk Road.
  • Route 67, Jefferson County, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., one lane closed northbound at Victoria Road/Montauk Road.
