JEFFERSON CITY - The following is a listing of general highway maintenance and construction work in the mid-Missouri area for the two-week period of December 3-14, 2018. Weather conditions may postpone the work schedule. Many projects will include lane closures that could cause delays.

Mowing, striping, brush cutting and guardrail repair continues in various locations. Motorists should travel with care and be alert to slow-moving equipment along the road.
Callaway County
Daylight/Overnight Hours
Business Route 54 between Route 54 East and Route 54 West – Sidewalk and ADA improvements continue. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in December.
Daylight Hours
Route 54 over Katy Trail east of Route 94 – Bridge maintenance in the eastbound lanes will take place Monday, December 10 through Friday, December 14. One eastbound lane will be open through the work area.
Route 63 over Cedar Creek, north of County Road 395 – Bridge maintenance in the northbound lanes will take place Monday, December 3 through Friday, December 7. One northbound lane will be open through the work area.
Route AA between Route 54 and Route 94 – Brush cutting will take place Monday, December 3 through Friday, December 14. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Camden County
Overnight Hours
Route 5 between Route 7 and Route 64 in Laclede County – Guardrail installation and replacement and pavement repair continues. One lane will be open through the work area.The entire project is scheduled for completion in late December.
Daylight Hours
Route 54 between Route KK and East Valley Drive – Pavement improvement and J-Turn installation continues. One eastbound lane and one westbound lane will be open through the work area
*J-Turns will be installed between Key Largo Road and West Valley Road. Guard cable will be installed between Route 5 and Key Largo Road. The project is scheduled for completion in August 2019.
Cole County
Overnight Hours
Route 50 Outer Road between Business Route 50 and Country Club Drive – Pavement repairs to the roadway and adjoining entrance and exit ramps continue. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Cooper County
Daylight Hours
Route T between Route J and Hopewell Road – Culvert pipe replacement in various locations will take place Monday, December 3 through Friday, December 14. The work will take place from 7 a.m. until 3 p.m. each day, with occasional full closures of the roadway. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route around the work area.
Route Y between Route 179 and Dietzel Lane – Sidewalk construction and upgrades continue. Minimal traffic interruptions are expected through the work area.
Crawford County

Route 19 between Cherryville Road and Route TT in Dent County – Brush cutting will take place Monday, December 3 through Friday, December 14. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route 19 between Route 8 and Route VV - Brush cutting will take place Monday, December 3 through Friday, December 14. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route 49 between Route 19 and Route Y – Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, December 3 through Friday, December 14. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route C between Route P and Argo Road – Brush cutting will take place Monday, December 3 through Friday, December 7. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route N between Route J and Route 185 in Washington County – Ditch repair will take place Monday, December 3 through Friday, December 7. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route V between Route 49 and Route Y – Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, December 3 through Friday, December 14. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route Y between Route 49 and Route V in Iron County – Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, December 3 through Friday, December 14. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route JJ between Route N and Forest Hill Road – Brush cutting will take place Monday, December 3 through Friday, December 7. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route WW between Essman Dunn Road and the Interstate 44 North Outer Road in Franklin County – Ditch repair will take place Monday, December 3 through Friday, December 7. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

Gasconade County

Route A over Third Creek, North of Brick Church Road – Core drilling operations will take place Monday, December 10 through Friday, December 14. The road will be closed from 6 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route around the work area.
Howard County

Route 87 between County Road 312 and County Road 340 – Culvert pipe replacement in various locations will take place Monday, December 3 through Friday, December 14. The road will be closed from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. each day. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route around the work area.
Laclede County

Interstate 44 Outer Road over the Gasconade River, west of Route 133 – Bridge replacement continues. The road is currently closed.
*Grading and clearing operations will take place the week of December 3. The entire project is scheduled for completion in August 2019.

Route 5 between Route 64 and Route 7 in Camden County – Guardrail installation and replacement and pavement repair continues. One lane will be open through the work area. The entire project is scheduled for completion in late December.
Maries County

Route 68 between Route P and County Road 431 – Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, December 3 through Friday, December 7. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

Route 54, east of Route 87 – Bridge deck rehabilitation in the eastbound lanes continues. One eastbound lane will be open through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in late December.

Business Route 54 between Route 54 and Route 87 – Edge rut repair will take place Monday, December 10 through Friday, December 14. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

Route 100 between Route 89 and Chamois Power Plant Road – Shoulder repair continues. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in mid-December.
Route D over Mistaken Creek, north of County Road 702 - Core drilling operations will take place from Monday, December 3 through Friday, December 7. The road will be closed from 6 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route around the work area.
Phelps County

Route B over the Bourbeuse River, north of County Road 1400 – Bridge replacement continues. Much of the work will take place off the roadway. Minimal traffic interruptions are expected through the work area.

Interstate 44 between mile marker 176 and mile marker 184 – Concrete repair in the westbound lanes continues. One westbound lane will be open through the work area.
Route BB (10th Street) between Forum Drive and Stoltz Road – Sidewalk repair continues. Minimal traffic interruptions are expected through the work area.
Route FF between Route 63 and County Road 6100 – Ditch repair will take place Monday, December 3 through Friday, December 7. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Pulaski County

Business Route 44 over Interstate 44 in St. Robert - Bridge maintenance in the eastbound and westbound lanes will take place Tuesday, December 4 through Thursday, December 6. One eastbound lane and one westbound lane will be open through the work area.
Washington County

Route 185 between Route 8 and the Franklin County line – Edge rut repair will take place Monday, December 3 through Friday, December 7. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route N between Route J and Route 185 in Washington County – Ditch repair will take place Monday, December 3 through Friday, December 7. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
