The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission awarded contracts for Southeast District projects during its regular meeting on Dec. 5. Awarded contracts include resurfacing and pavement improvements.
Contracts include the following:
- A $1,812,545 contract was awarded to Chester Bross Construction Co., for pavement improvements to the following routes:
- Route H from Route 77 to Route U in Scott County;
- Route E from Route 77 to Commerce, Mo. in Scott County, and;
- Route 61 from south of Route K to north or Route 77 in Scott County.
- A $2,062,903 contract was awarded to Apex Paving Co. for pavement improvements to the following routes:
- Route D from Route 25 to Route 61 in Dunklin and New Madrid Counties, and;
- Route U from Route D to Route 61 in New Madrid County.
- A $3,074,000 contract was awarded to Pace Construction Co., for pavement improvements to the following routes:
- Route T from Route BB to Route 51 in Perry County, and;
- Route N from Route M to end of state maintenance in Ste. Genevieve County.
- A $1,274,000 contract was awarded to Pace Construction Co., for pavement improvements to Route 49 from Route 34 to Route 67 in Wayne County.
- A $1,374,000 contract was awarded to Pace Construction Co., for pavement improvements to the following routes:
- Route AC from Route 412 to Route F in Dunklin County;
- Route F from Route 412 to the Arkansas state line in Dunklin County;
- Route N from Route 412 to Route 164 in Dunklin County, and;
- Route WW from Route 53 to Route J in Dunklin County.
Additional information, regarding timelines and impacts to traffic, will be released prior to the start of construction.
Work zones will be marked with signs as work is underway. Motorists are urged to use caution when traveling in these areas and plan for possible delays. MoDOT will alert drivers prior to any changes in traffic.
