Commission Awards Improvement Projects on Two Boone County Highways

The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission has awarded contracts for improvement projects on two roadways in Boone County.

Capital Paving and Construction was awarded a contract to mill and resurface in the following areas:

  • S. Route 63 from Missouri Route 22 to Route 763.
  • Route 763 between Route 740 (Stadium Boulevard) and Business Loop 70 in Columbia.

The low bid for the contract was $4,432,377. Work on each project will take place in 2019.  When a start date is established, MoDOT will alert the public about the project through signs, news releases and social media.
