Improvements Approved for Route 17 in Four Counties

At its regular meeting in Washington, Mo. Wednesday, the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission approved a contract to improve Route 17 in four counties. Vance Brothers was awarded a contract to microsurface a nearly 50-mile stretch of Route 17 between Iberia in Miller County and Roby in Texas County, after submitting the low bid of $2,325,494.

The project is scheduled to take place in 2019.  When a start date is established, MoDOT will alert the public about the project through signs, news releases and social media.
