JACKSON COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation plans to close several lanes of eastbound and westbound I-70 near the Phelps, Crysler and Pittman Bridge Project. These overnight closures will allow crews to conduct pavement marking work. These are final steps to the conclusion of the multiple bridge replacement project. All work is weather dependent.
Crews will close the left lane of eastbound I-70 between Crysler Ave. and Phelps Rd. beginning at 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 10. Crews will close an additional lane starting approximately at 8 p.m. All lanes will reopen at 6 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11.

Crew opened the new Pittman Rd. Bridge back on Wednesday, Nov. 28. The Pittman, Phelps and Crysler Bridges were all closed in late May of 2018 in order to be replaced.
