JACKSON COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will have a lane closure along eastbound Interstate 70 at Route F on both Friday, Dec. 14, and Monday, Dec. 17, beginning at 7 a.m. to noon each day. The lane closure will involve various lane shifts as crews pour the barrier wall and remove temporary barrier wall. All work is weather permitting.
These lane reductions may impact I-70 traffic. Consider alternative routes. Review traffic impacts on MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map at http://traveler.modot.org.
The Missouri Department of Transportation urges all motorists to always wear safety belts, follow posted speed limits and be alert for slowed traffic, narrowed lanes or a reduced number of lanes during construction and maintenance work. And remember, every work zone is a NO PHONE ZONE.
