The following is a listing of general highway maintenance and construction work in the mid-Missouri area for the two-week period of December 17-28, 2018. Weather conditions may postpone the work schedule. Many projects will include lane closures that could cause delays.

Mowing, striping, brush cutting and guardrail repair continues in various locations. Motorists should travel with care and be alert to slow-moving equipment along the road.
Boone County
Daylight Hours
Route 740 (Stadium Boulevard) between Route 63 and Route TT - Pavement repairs to the roadway and adjoining entrance and exit ramps continue. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Callaway County
Daylight/Overnight Hours
Business Route 54 between Route 54 East and Route 54 West – Sidewalk and ADA improvements continue. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in mid-January.
Route F between Business Route 54 and Route J - Ditch repair will take place Monday, December 17 through Friday, December 21. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route H between Route J and Business Route 54 - Ditch repair will take place Monday, December 17 through Friday, December 21. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route J between Route OO County and Road 436 - Ditch repair will take place Monday, December 17 through Friday, December 21. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route AA between Route 54 and Route 94 – Brush cutting will take place Monday, December 17 through Friday, December 28. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route MM between Route J and County Road 389 - Ditch repair will take place Monday, December 17 through Friday, December 21. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Camden County
Daylight Hours
Route 5 between Route 7 and Route 64 in Laclede County – Guardrail installation and replacement and pavement repair continues. One lane will be open through the work area. The entire project is scheduled for completion in late December.
Route 54 between Route KK and East Valley Drive – Pavement improvement and J-Turn installation continues. One eastbound lane and one westbound lane will be open through the work area.
*J-Turns will be installed between Key Largo Road and West Valley Road. Guard cable will be installed between Route 5 and Key Largo Road. The project is scheduled for completion in August 2019.
Route KK between Business Route 54 and West Osage Beach Parkway – Culvert pipe replacement in various locations will take place Monday, December 17 through Friday, December 21. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Cole County
Overnight Hours
Route 50 Outer Road between Business Route 50 and Country Club Drive – Pavement repairs to the roadway and adjoining entrance and exit ramps continue. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Cooper County

Route T between Route J and Hopewell Road – Culvert pipe replacement in various locations will take place Monday, December 17 through Friday, December 28. The work will take place from 7 a.m. until 3 p.m. each day, with occasional full closures of the roadway. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route around the work area.
Route U between Route B and Route J – Brush cutting will take place Monday, December 17 and Friday, December 21. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route Y between Route 179 and Dietzel Lane – Sidewalk construction and upgrades continue. Minimal traffic interruptions are expected through the work area.
Crawford County

Route C between Route 19 and Colonial Woods Road - Brush cutting will take place Monday, December 17 through Friday, December 21. One lane will be open and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route KK between the Interstate 44 South Outer Road and the Phelps County line – Pavement milling in the southbound lanes will take place Monday, December 17 and Tuesday, December 18. One southbound lane will be open through the work area.
Route WW between Essman Dunn Road and the Interstate 44 North Outer Road in Franklin County – Ditch repair will take place Monday, December 17 through Friday, December 21. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Dent County

Route FF between Route 68 and Route 72 – Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, December 17 through Friday, December 28. One lane will be open and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route OO between Route O and County Road 2010 - Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, December 17 through Friday, December 28. One lane will be open and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Howard County
Daylight Hours
Route 87 between County Road 312 and County Road 340 – Culvert pipe replacement in various locations will take place Monday, December 17 through Friday, December 28. The road will be closed from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. each day. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route around the work area.
Route Y between Route 124 and County Road 138 – Brush cutting will take place Monday, December 17 through Friday, December 28. One lane will be open and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Laclede County
Daylight/Overnight Hours
Interstate 44 Outer Road over the Gasconade River, west of Route 133 – Bridge replacement continues. The road is currently closed.
*Grading and clearing operations will take place the week of December 17. The entire project is scheduled for completion in August 2019.

Route 5 between Route 64 and Route 7 in Camden County – Guardrail installation and replacement and pavement repair continues. One lane will be open through the work area. The entire project is scheduled for completion in late December.
Route N between Route 32 and Route T – Culvert pipe repair will take place between Monday, December 17 through Friday, December 28. One lane will be open and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Miller County
Daylight Hours
Route 54 at Business Route 54 – Core drilling in the eastbound and westbound lanes will take place Monday, December 17 through Thursday, December 19. One eastbound lane and one west bound lane will be open through the work area.
Route 54 over Wrights Creek, east of Lakeland Road – Bridge deck rehabilitation in the eastbound and westbound lanes continues. One eastbound lane and one westbound lane will be open through the work area.
Route H between Jim Henry Road and Sele Road - Culvert pipe replacement will take place Monday, December 17 through Friday, December 21. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route M between Pin Oak Road and Saline Road - Edge rut repair will take place Wednesday, December 26 through Monday, December 31. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route W between Lighthouse Road and Overlook Road - Brush cutting will take place Monday, December 17 and Friday, December 21. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Moniteau County

Route D between Route 87 and Route O - Brush cutting will take place Monday, December 17 through Friday, December 28. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route T between Gamble Road and Genny Road - Culvert pipe replacement in various locations will take place Tuesday, December 18 through Thursday, December 20. The work will take place from 8 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. each day, with occasional full closures of the roadway. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route around the work area.
Morgan County

Route D between Route PP and Route JJ - Culvert pipe replacement will take place on Monday, December 17. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Phelps County
Daylight/Overnight Hours
Route B over the Bourbeuse River, north of County Road 1400 – New bridge construction continues. Much of the work will take place off the roadway. Minimal traffic interruptions are expected through the work area.

Route BB (10th Street) between Forum Drive and Stoltz Road – Sidewalk repair continues. Minimal traffic interruptions are expected through the work area.
Pulaski County
Daylight Hours
Route 28 between Route PP and Columbia Road- Brush cutting will take place Wednesday, December 26 through Friday, December 28. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route 133 between Route 17 and Burlington Road – Brush cutting will take place Monday, December 17 through Friday, December 21. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route P between Route 17 and Interstate 44 – Brush cutting will take place Thursday, December 20 and Friday, December 21. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.
Washington County

Route 185 between Route 8 and the Franklin County line - Edge rut repair will take place Monday, December 17 through Friday, December 21. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
