Another round of winter weather is scheduled to hit northern, northeastern and eastern Missouri over the next few hours. Up to 1-inch of additional accumulation is possible in St. Louis as well as central, northern, northeastern and southeastern parts of the state.
According to the National Weather Service, there is also potential for more accumulation across some northwestern counties of Missouri.
The system is expected to exit the state around 6 p.m. this evening.
With low temperatures already creating freezing conditions over many roads in those areas, the additional accumulation could create hazardous road conditions.
Travelers are advised to follow local weather forecasts and check the Traveler Information Map for changes in roads conditions before heading out.
