MACON – The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission recently awarded a contract to Capital Paving of Columbia, Missouri, for an overlay project on Randolph County Route F, from Missouri Route 3 to Randolph County Route C near Darksville, for a total of 7 miles. The cost of the project is $511,603.
“Crews will be resurfacing with a one-inch overlay,” said MoDOT Area Engineer Brian Haeffner, P.E.
Traffic will be reduced to one lane through the work zones while the work is completed. The work could begin as early as this spring and should be completed before this fall.
“We will be able to provide a more specific schedule on this project after the contractor provides the plan for completing the work,” Haeffner added.
