Resurfacing Project Awarded for Warren County Route W

MACON – The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission has awarded a contract to Mid-River Asphalt, of Troy, Missouri, for a resurfacing project on Warren County Route W, from the Warren County Route A to Interstate 70 North Outer Road, for a total length of approximately 9 miles. The total cost of the project is $519,378.

“The roadway will receive a new 1-inch asphalt overlay that will improve the surface for motorists,” said MoDOT Area Engineer Erik Maninga, P.E.

Traffic will be reduced to one lane through the work zones while the work is completed. The work could begin as early as this spring and should be completed before this fall.

“We will be able to provide a more specific schedule on this project after the contractor provides the plan for completing the work,” Maninga added.
