Crews will close northbound lanes of Route 291 at MO River Bridge

JACKSON COUNTY – Crews will close the northbound lanes of Route 291 at the Missouri River Bridge beginning at 9:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1 and again at 4:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 2nd and 3rd for utility work. Northbound traffic will be moved to the south bound lanes in a head-to-head pattern. All work is weather dependent.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
