ST. LOUIS – Drivers should take extra precautions when traveling during the ongoing bitter cold temperatures. Keep a full tank of gas in your vehicle and if you have car troubles or are involved in a crash, please remain in your vehicle. In addition, make sure to have a winter weather safety kit in your vehicle that includes blankets, gloves, a hat, water and snacks.

Motorists should be aware of the following on-going closures:
- I-44, St. Louis City, one lane closed westbound from Hampton to Arsenal through 2019.
- I-44, St. Louis City, two lanes westbound from Arsenal to Shrewsbury are closed indefinitely.
- I-44, St. Louis City, one eastbound lane from Shrewsbury to Arsenal is closed indefinitely.
- I-44, St. Louis City, the ramp from Shrewsbury to eastbound I-44 is closed indefinitely.
- I-70, St. Louis City, the eastbound exit to Madison is closed thru fall 2019.
- I-44, St. Louis County, one lane closed westbound between I-270 and Bowles thru late 2021.
- I-64, St. Louis County, one lane on the ramp from Hanley to eastbound I-64 is closed through late March 2019.
