North Packer Road CLOSED Into Tuesday, Feb. 26 for Railroad Crossing Repairs
What: Railroad crews will CLOSE rail crossings on North Packer Road and East Division Street in Springfield to make repairs
UPDATED INFORMATION -- When/Where:
- 7 a.m. Monday, Feb. 25, UNTIL EARLY AFTERNOON TUESDAY, FEB. 26: Packer Road CLOSED between Kearney Street and Division Street. Railroad crews experienced equipment issues which will require Packer Road to remain closed overnight Monday into Tuesday, Feb. 25-26.
- MID-MORNING Tuesday, Feb. 26, until late afternoon Wednesday, Feb. 27: East Division Street west of U.S. Route 65
Details: Both Springfield city streets will be CLOSED during the work. MoDOT is assisting with notification via this traffic alert and electronic message boards located near the projects.
Traffic Impacts:
- Drivers will have access to driveways on either side of the railroad crossings, but will not be able to cross them.
- The work on the Division Street crossing will impact and cause backups at the Route 65/Division Street interchange. Drivers urged to find alternate routes from Tuesday, Feb. 26, until the work is completed on Wednesday afternoon, Feb. 27.
