Improvements Approved for Routes 19 and ZZ in Cuba

Pedestrian facility improvements along Missouri Route 19 and Crawford County Route ZZ in Cuba have been approved by the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission. At its meeting today, the commission awarded a contract to make improvements in the area, to be in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Raineri Construction submitted the low bid of $1,555,292.

The project is scheduled to begin this summer. When work begins, motorists can expect occasional temporary lane and entrance closures. When a start date is established, MoDOT will alert the public about the project through signs, news releases and social media.

For more information about this project or other transportation-related matters, please call 1-888-ASK-MoDOT (275-6636) or visit www.modot.org/central. Follow the MoDOT Central Missouri District on Facebook and Twitter for project updates.
