Delays Expected at Route 160/76 Roundabout

Near Forsyth for Paving Operations Week of March 18

Forsyth, Taney County – Traffic delays are expected at the Route 160/76 roundabout near Forsyth during the week of March 18 as contractor crews lay the top layer of asphalt to the roundabout and then apply permanent pavement markings, the Missouri Department of Transportation said.

Drivers are urged to use caution and follow instructions of the flaggers at the intersection. At times, traffic patterns will change as traffic is moved away from where crews are working.

Major traffic delays are expected. Drivers should allow for extra travel time.

The work will take place between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday-Friday to avoid the busiest travel times.

The paving and striping work will complete the project.

The prime contractor is Lehman Construction of California, Mo.

The total project cost is $1.4 million.

The roundabout project is a partnership between MoDOT and Taney County.
