Bridge Work Planned for U.S. 136 and Route M in Schuyler County Will Impact Traffic

MACON - Weather permitting, MoDOT will be doing the following work on routes in Schuyler County. Please see the dates and locations below. All work will be completed between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. each day.

U.S. Route 136 - March 18-20, one lane traffic at the Railroad Bridge located between U.S. Route 63 and Pheasant Run. The lane will stay closed 24 hours a day, so it will close at 7:00 a.m. on March 18 and reopen at 4:00 p.m. on March 20. there will be a 10 ft. width restriction in place while the lane is closed.

Schuyler County Route M - March 21-22, road closed at the Fabius River Bridge, located between the Iowa State Line and Rabbit run. The road will stay closed 24 hours a day, so it will close at 7:00 a.m. on March 21 and reopen at 4:00 p.m. on March 20.

For the closure, motorists will need to use alternate routes during these times. Please remember to obey all work zone signs and personnel, and put down your cell phone to help eliminate distractions.
