Bridge Patching Planned for Loutre River Bridge on Interstate 70 in Montgomery County

MACON – Weather permitting, beginning at 8:00 p.m. tonight, March 20, contractor crews will temporarily close one lane of Interstate 70 in Montgomery County at Loutre River Bridge, located west of Danville, for bridge patching. The lane will reopen at 5:30 a.m. on March 21. Work will continue and one lane will close again at 8:00 p.m. on March 21, and reopen at 5:30 a.m. on March 22.

Please use caution if you will be traveling through this area. Remember to obey all work zone signs and personnel, and put down your cell phone to help eliminate distractions.
