Construction Update: MoDOT Plans Work along I-435 from Three Trails Crossing to State Line for This Week
JACKSON COUNTY – Spring has officially begun and construction season is starting in earnest. Missouri Department of Transportation crews have resumed a regular paving and work schedule on the I-435 corridor. This week’s work includes the following:
Tuesday, March 26: From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. the ramp from Wornall Road to westbound I-435 will be CLOSED for pavement work.
EXTENDED: Wednesday March 27, Thursday March 28 and Friday March 29: From 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. crews will CLOSE one lane of westbound I-435 from 104th Street to Wornall Road for work on the Holmes Road Bridge.
Thursday, March 28: Crews will CLOSE the right two lanes of eastbound I-435 from 104th Street to Blue River Bridge from 7:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. on March 29. Crews will add new pavement behind the barrier.
Friday, March 29: Crews will CLOSE the left two lanes of westbound I-435 from Grandview Road to State Line from 7:30 p.m. until 5 a.m. on March 30 to pour new pavement.

This work is part of the I-435 South Loop Link project which will replace the bridges at Wornall and Holmes, rehabilitate the bridges at 104th Street and the Blue River, upgrade the pavement on I-435 which includes adding another lane. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
