New Halls Ferry to I-270

Proposed improvements for Route 67 between New Halls Ferry to I-270 are:

  • Resurface approximately four miles of pavement.
  • Upgrade the existing sidewalks and curb ramps to meet ADA requirements.
  • Construct new sidewalks in front of Phillips 66, Firestone Complete Auto Care, and the utility substation.
  • Replace existing entrances to meet ADA requirements.
  • Reconstruct traffic signals at Trotterway Dr., Target entrance, North Waterford Dr./Thunderbird Ave., New Florissant Rd., St.  Jean St., West Washington St./Charbonier Rd., and Elm Grove Ave.
  • Replace the acceleration lane on Lindbergh Blvd. northbound between Taylor Rd. and Elm Grove Rd. that was removed as part of the I-270 improvements.
  • Make connection between existing sidewalk along the north side of Lindbergh Blvd. and the existing switchback for the Great Rivers Greenway Sunset Greenway Trail at the bridge just east of Patterson Rd.
