Project Summary

The purpose of this project is to resurface the roadway and upgrade guardrails and pedestrian facilities along a two-mile stretch of Route 100, which extends from Washington Crossing to east of Fifth Street.

ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) requirements will be addressed at Washington Crossing, Washington Heights Drive, Aroy Drive, Rabbit Trail Drive, Vernaci Drive, and South Point Road. The signal controller at Rabbit Trail Drive will be replaced, as well as the video detection systems at Washington Heights Drive, Aroy Drive, Rabbit Trail Drive, Vernaci Drive, and South Point Road.

IMPACT TO TRAFFIC

Temporary traffic control will be managed with single lane closures in two stages.

 

RIGHT OF WAY

A small amount of Right of Way will be acquired at the intersection of Route 100 and Vernaci Drive/Brookview Drive. This is necessary to adequately address the proposed ADA upgrades and guardrail replacement at the intersection.
