Why is MoDOT doing this project?

This project will help improve the intersection at Prairie View Road and Running Horse Road to the city limits, east of Interstate 29.

Intersection improvement includes additional turn lanes, pedestrian crosswalks, signal replacement and a new signal at the southbound I-29 ramps.

The project will incorporate new sidewalks/multi-use path on the south side of Route 92.

What impact will this project have on traffic?

Work will reduce lanes during construction. Motorists should expect temporary lane closures, ramp closures, flagging operations and shoulder work.

What is the project time line?

This project is scheduled to be let in November 2020.

Construction is to begin spring of 2021.

Completion date is anticipated late fall/early winter 2021.

What does this project cost?

The cost of this project is just over $3.7 million.
