2020 NPE grant -(will be closed after this year) incurred cost prior to July 30, 2026, will not be extended.
2021 NPE -incurred cost prior to Aug. 1, 2026, may not be extended.
2022 NPE -incurred cost prior to Aug. 16, 2026, may not be extended.
Note: The NPE dates for 2020, 2021 and 2022 represent the deadlines by which all project costs must be incurred. While the intent is for all expenditures to be fully completed by these dates, payments may be processed after the NPE deadline provided the associated costs were incurred beforehand. For closeout purposes, the FAA allows up to 90 days for 2020 NPE funds and up to 120 days for 2021 NPE funds to finalize all payments and submit required documentation.

We will miss you Tom Powers
MoDOT's Aviation Section would like to share that Tom Powers, Aviation Project Manager for the southern Missouri airports, has transitioned to a new role within MoDOT.
Tom has contributed significantly to airport development efforts over the past five years. His leadership, professionalism and commitment to supporting Missouri’s aviation system have been greatly appreciated by our team and by the many airports, communities and consultants he has worked with.
We congratulate Tom on his new opportunity and thank him for his service to the Aviation Section. We wish him continued success in the next chapter of his career.
