Agency Scoping Meeting was held with federal, state, and local governmental units and federally-recognized tribal representatives that have an interest in the project.

Development and analysis of Initial Alternatives. Twenty alternatives were developed: 18 'build' alternatives, one (1) rehabilitate existing structure alternative, and a 'no-build' alternative required by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) to be carried forward as a baseline comparison.

Public Meeting #2 - The 20 Initial Alternatives were presented to the public in an open-house format at Remington Nature Center. Public comments were taken at the meeting and via email.

Development of Reasonable Alternatives. The study team took the feedback from Public Meeting #2 and the detailed analysis of the Initial Alternatives and developed six (6) Reasonable Alternatives.

After Public Meeting #3, the EA team will finalize the Environmental Assessment document for presentation to FHWA, select a preferred alternative based on analysis, stakeholder feedback and public feedback, and present the Recommended Preferred Alternative at a formal public hearing.
