Employee Resource Groups

WHAT IS AN ERG?

An ERG is a voluntary, employee-led group that brings people of diverse backgrounds together based on common interests, backgrounds or demographic factors to help accomplish business goals, help employees make connections with others and to provide a platform for employees to share ideas.  

MoDOT is committed to fostering a diverse workplace which is inclusive of its employees.  The challenge for us is to recognize and capitalize on the organizational diversity to create a strong culture of inclusion. By implementing an industry best practice of creating Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) MoDOT can use common ground, shared identity and experiences to proactively monitor and build inclusion.
