The Maries County U.S. Route 63 bridge over the Gasconade River is included in Gov. Mike Parson’s $351 million Focus on Bridges program, which will repair or replace 250 bridges across the state. Check out the Focus on Bridges page for more information about the program.

Work Taking Place:
This project will rehabilitate the U.S. Route 50 bridge over the Gasconade River, in Mount Sterling, and the U.S. Route 63 bridge over the Gasconade River, south of Vienna. Both bridges have reached a place where rehabilitation is necessary to extend their lifespans.
Traffic Impact:
Work is currently taking place. Lane closures are likely at both locations.
Project Milestones
Concrete Strategies was awarded a contract to rehabilitate the U.S. Route 50 bridge over the Gasconade River, in Mount Sterling, and the U.S. Route 63 bridge over the Gasconade River, south of Vienna. The contractor submitted the lowest bid of $1,413,242.
The bridge is located in Mount Sterling.
