Districts Impacted
What is being done?
Improvements are needed on Route 61/67 in Jefferson County from north of the Meramec River to south of Collier Drive. To maintain the roadway and continue to keep motorists safe, MoDOT will resurface the pavement in the area and upgrade guardrail to meet the Federal Highway Administration safety standards.
In compliance with MoDOT's Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Transition plan, the department will upgrade the existing pedestrian facilities, which include constructing new concrete curb ramps and island cut-throughs and ensuring all signals within the project limits are accessible pedestrian signals.
