Project Summary
MoDOT and consultants from Affinis are working to bring existing sidewalks and pedestrian facilities along state-maintained routes into compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Improvements will take place in the towns of Princeton and South Lineville along U.S. Routes 136 and 65.
Project Milestones
MoDOT and consultants from Affinis are designing a project which will install and repair sidewalks in Princeton and South Lineville.
1. A public open house meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at the Princeton High School (1008 E Coleman St, Princeton, MO 64673) to discuss the project. Community members may stop by anytime between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. to learn about the project.

Contractors may submit competitive bids during MoDOT's scheduled lettings. This project is scheduled to be a part of the November 2025 letting. The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission will consider all submitted bids at its scheduled monthly meeting in December 2025. If the lowest submitted bid meets all necessary criteria, the MHTC may award contracts at that time.
MoDOT will work with the contractor to determine a schedule after the project is awarded.
