JEFFERSON CITY, Mo – The Missouri Department of Transportation is hosting a hiring event in Jefferson City next week with potential for a quick hire. The event will be held at the Central District office at 1511 Missouri Boulevard on Thursday, April 11 from 2-6 p.m.
Applicants may park in either visitor lot to the east or west of the building and come in through the front door, which faces Missouri Boulevard.
Eligible applicants may receive an on-the-spot conditional job offer and could start work within two weeks, if they successfully pass the pre-screening process:
- On-site interview.
- Criminal background check.
- Drug test.
- Work simulation and physical (required for some positions).
Successful applicants must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED. In addition, applicants should bring the following documents to assist in a rapid-hire process:
- Resume with professional references.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or permit (if they have it).
