Kansas City, Mo – The Missouri Department of Transportation’s Kansas City District will host an upcoming recruiting event with the hopes of bringing on board new full-time Maintenance Workers.
It’s all part of an effort to help beef up forces as the winter months approach. Maintenance Workers are critical to Missouri travelers once snow starts to fall. These positions are also vital when it comes to everyday roadway safety.
The job fair will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 10 at Morning Star Baptist Church Youth and Family Life Center, located at 2525 East 27th St. in Kansas City, MO.
Full-time Maintenance Workers will receive training along with an extensive list of benefits, including medical insurance, paid holidays, sick leave, annual leave, and pension-based retirement.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma/GED and successfully complete a criminal background check and drug screening.
