U.S. 60 in Butler, Stoddard Counties Reduced for Island Replacement

SIKESTON ― U.S. Route 60 in Butler and Stoddard Counties will be reduced as contractor crews remove and replace islands at various intersections. As work is underway, eastbound and westbound Route 60 will be reduced to one lane in each direction in the vicinity of the intersection.This section of roadway is located between County Road 565 in Butler County and County Road 717 in Stoddard County. Weather permitting, work will take place from Monday, May 13 through Friday, Aug. 16 from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. The work zone will be marked with signs.  Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area. For additional information, contact MoDOT’s Customer Service Center toll-free at 1-888-ASK-MODOT (1-888-275-6636) or visit www.modot.org/southeast.
