CARROLLTON, Mo. – Bridge rehabilitation projects will begin this month on two bridges located on U.S. Route 24 in Chariton County followed by two U.S. Route 65 bridges in Carroll County. Contractors from Lehman Construction, LLC, working with the Missouri Department of Transportation, plan to begin work Monday, March 11.
- Chariton County
- U.S. Route 24 Chariton River and Long Creek Bridges – March 11 thru late May
- Carroll County
- U.S. Route 65 Wakenda Creek and Missouri River Overflow Bridges – Mid May thru late Oct.
During the bridge projects traffic will be narrowed to one lane and directed over each bridge with traffic signals.
