SIKESTON-The Missouri Department of Transportation will hold a public meeting from 4 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, March 27 to discuss upcoming bridge projects on Routes K and D in St. Francois County. The meeting will be held at Bonne Terre City Hall, located at 118 N. Allen St.
The meeting will have an open-house format, so visitors can stop by to talk one-on-one with a member of the project team anytime between 4 and 6 p.m. No formal presentation will be given.
The Route K project will include replacing the deck of the bridge over Terre Bleue Creek, located approximately 2.5 miles east of Route 67. The work on Route D will include replacing the bridge over Terre Bleue Creek, located near the intersection of Routes K and C.
Work is anticipated to begin in spring 2013, with completion in fall 2013, weather permitting. As construction is underway, the roadways will remain closed.
