Meeting to be Rescheduled
The community briefing scheduled to discuss upcoming Safe and Sound bridge improvement projects in Butler County has been cancelled. The briefing, which was originally scheduled on September 14 at Twin Rivers High School, will be rescheduled.
Butler County bridges to be replaced include the Route OO bridge over Inter River Drainage District Ditch No. 16 and the Route AA bridge over Inter River Drainage District Ditch No. 10.
"Construction of the two remaining Butler County bridges will no longer be accelerated," said Southeast Regional Field Engineer Andy Meyer. "An updated schedule for the Butler County bridges will be released once plans are finalized."
Work to replace the two bridges is expected to begin next year.
