ST. LOUIS – Motorists who use Conway under Interstate 270 will need to determine alternate routes next weekend.
Crews will close Conway Road under Interstate 270 starting at 8 p.m. Friday, September 20 to remove a portion of the interstate bridge over Conway.
Drivers will still be able to get to Mercy Hospital east of I-270 using Ballas Road to Conway, and drivers will be able to get to portions of Conway west of I-270 from the I-64 north outer road. There is no additional impact to traffic on Interstate 270 during this demolition.
Lanes on Conway will reopen by 5 a.m. Monday, September 23.
The Conway Road closure is part of the continuing work to replace the I-270 bridge over Conway Road and widen the I-270 bridge over Ladue Road.
